MunichRe
Natural Hazards Edition by Munich Re is a modular SaaS solution designed to assess and manage risks associated with natural disasters, including hurricanes, floods, storms, and wildfires. By integrating up-to-date risk data into business processes, users can swiftly and reliably identify high-risk areas and evaluate them using overall risk scores or detailed assessments covering up to 12 individual natural hazards.
BuiltAPI's MunichRe application offers a seamless connector to Munich Re's Location Risk Intelligence API, enabling users to integrate comprehensive natural hazard and climate risk data directly into their business processes.

Auth Settings
MunichRe Auth URL
Type: String Description: The URL used to obtain the authentication token. Default Value: https://login.microsoftonline.com/munichre.onmicrosoft.com/oauth2/token How to Obtain: In most cases, the default value is sufficient for accessing the MunichRe API. However, if your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO) for API authentication, you might need to adjust this setting. Please confirm the correct URL with your system administrator.
MunichRe Resource
Type: String Description: The resource identifier for the MunichRe API. Default Value: https://munich.munichre.com/nathan How to Obtain: Do not change this value unless instructed to do so by MunichRe support.
MunichRe Subscription Key
Type: Secret Description: The subscription key used to authenticate API requests. How to Obtain: To get a subscription, you have to subscribe to a product using the developer portal. The first time you use the portal, you have to request an API management account (sign up process) by contacting the Munichre Location Intelligence API product team and providing an email address (note: you do not need an account per developer but one per subscription manager). Munichre will check your request and send you an invitation for registration using the email address you provided. Please follow the instructions in the email i.e. use the provided link to create your account by setting a password, then you can sign in the developer portal and start to manage your subscription keys or start to discover the API.

Type: String Description: The Client ID for your MunichRe API application. How to Obtain: Create an application in the MunichRe developer portal to get a client ID.
MunichRe Client Secret
Type: Secret Description: The secret key associated with your MunichRe API application. How to Obtain: Create an application in the MunichRe developer portal to get a client secret.
